Fold your own wish for our community! Join us in our drop-in sessions to fold one thousand cranes together — each one is a symbol of hope, healing, and connection. In Japanese culture, cranes represent longevity, happiness, good fortune. The tradition of folding 1,000 origami cranes, Senbazuru (千羽鶴) , is believed to bring blessings. Take a square of paper, follow the steps, and add your crane. One fold at a time, we carry the tradition forward! For all ages. Completed cranes will be on display in the library.
