Privacy Policy

Froliq (“we”, “our”) operates froliq.app, a directory of local family activities. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

From parents / visitors

• Email address — only if you subscribe to Weekend Picks or sign up for activity alerts. Never required to browse.
• Location (lat/lng) — if you grant browser geolocation permission for nearby search results. Not stored server-side unless you subscribe to alerts.
• Child age range — an optional filter used solely to personalise activity results. We do not collect names, dates of birth, photos, or any other personal data about children. We are not directed to children and do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

From activity providers

• Business name, address, contact email, and listing details you submit voluntarily.
• An edit-link token emailed to you so you can manage your listing — no account or password needed.

Automatically

• Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostics.
• Vercel Analytics collects aggregated, anonymised page-view metrics. No cross-site tracking.

• Send the Weekly Picks digest or activity alerts you subscribed to.
• Display and manage activity listings submitted by providers.
• Maintain a suppression list to honour unsubscribe requests (CAN-SPAM / CASL compliance).
• Improve site performance and diagnose errors.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Every marketing or digest email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or contacting us at hello@froliq.app. We honour all opt-outs promptly and maintain a suppression list to prevent future sends.

Froliq is a platform for parents and activity providers — not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. The “child age” filter on our site is an anonymous preference used to surface relevant results; it is not linked to a child’s identity. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at hello@froliq.app and we will delete it.

• Subscriber emails: retained while your subscription is active, deleted on unsubscribe.
• Provider listing data: retained while the listing is live; deleted within 30 days of a removal request.
• Server logs: rotated after 90 days.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights — or to request deletion of any data we hold about you — email us at hello@froliq.app with “Data deletion request” in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.

We use only essential session cookies and Vercel Analytics (no persistent identifiers). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels.

• Resend — email delivery. Processes email addresses under their privacy policy.
• Supabase — database hosting (PostgreSQL). Data stored in US-East region.
• Vercel — hosting and analytics.
• Mapbox — map tiles and geocoding for activity addresses.

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be noted with a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
